Gov't Affairs August Session** 08/30/2017

"Employee Handbooks - Preparation and Updating of Employer Policies" with Scott S. Moore, Baird Holm.  At this session, Scott S. Moore will discuss the most recent modifications required for employer policies and how to best communicate those changes through the employee handbook.

SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification Prep Course - 09/2017

The SHRM Nebraska State Council, HRAM and the University of Nebraska Omaha have joined forces to offer a SHRM Learning System instructor-led, on-line course to expand attendee’s human resource knowledge and prepare them for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam. This prep course is designed for individuals interested in preparing for the SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP exam, achieving professional advancement and building confidence for addressing today’s HR challenges. Topic: "Re-Entry of Ex-Offenders in the Workplace"

Symposiums are smaller and less formal meetings for HRAM members and the Omaha community.  It is FREE to attend; however, registration is required as seating is limited.

HRAM will be offering quarterly series of Strategic-Business Sessions in conjunction with Lockton Companies. Rory Akers with Lockton Companies, will discuss "Reducing the Fear Factor of a Health Plan Audit: What to Expect and How to Prepare for When the DOL Comes Knocking".

A Compensation, Benefits and Wellness Collaboration Series. WELLCOM and HRAM have partnered to provide business professionals a series of trending topics on Compensation, Benefits and Wellness presented by experts in the field. HR credits will be available.
