Mike Bojanski, SHRM-SCP, MHR

Mike Bojanski is a long time member of HRAM and has previously served as Co-Chair for the Membership and College Relations Committee. He is currently V.P. and CHRO at Finley Engineering Company, Inc. in Omaha and is the dean of Finley Academy, the company’s corporate university.
Mike began his human resources career in 1982 with Richman Gordman Stores. In his 30-plus-year career he has had the opportunity to work with privately held and fortune 500 companies including First Data Resources, Cox Communications, Physicians Mutual Insurance Company and Huntel Systems.
Mike graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1977 with a BSBA in Marketing and Human Resources and received his master’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. He earned his SPHR certification in 2002.
Mike serves as adjunct faculty at Creighton University and Methodist College in Omaha, NE and is on the board of directors for Partnerships in Aging, Inc. He and his wife Cindy enjoy gardening and spending time outdoors with their four grandchildren.
Melissa Popish, CCP, SHRM-CP, PHR

Melissa Popish is the Director of Compensation & HR Compliance for Boys Town in Omaha. Her responsibilities include managing the compensation function, ensuring HR compliance with both federal and state regulations as well as contract requirements, reporting and analysis of HR metrics, and managing a variety of HRIS projects. Melissa has 13 years of experience in the Human Resources field specializing in Compensation and HRIS and has held previous positions at Mutual of Omaha and Oriental Trading Company.
Melissa has been a member of HRAM for 9 years and has served on the Compensation & Benefits committee. She previously held the position of Co-Chair for the committee for two years prior to taking on the Assistant Treasurer role. She is now stepping up as Treasurer of the HRAM Board.
Melissa holds an MBA from Creighton University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Human Resource Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband, Jake, and two sons, Dylan and Casey. She enjoys attending her children’s sporting events and activities, reading, and playing golf.
Carrie Svendsen, SHRM-CP, PHR

Human Resource Specialist, City of Papillion
Carrie is currently the Human Resource Manager for the City of Papillion. She has worked with the city for the past three years handling all of the HR functions for the city which has three unions and 165 full-time employees.
Prior to working with the city, Carrie worked for Treat America Food Services, formerly The Swanson Corporation, for 23 years. She was the Payroll Manager for Swanson Corporation. Shortly after merging with Treat America, Carrie was promoted to Human Resource Manager for the Northern Region. She now handles all HR functions for over 450 employees in a five state area.
Carrie has been a HRAM member since 2008 and received her PHR in 2009. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Bellevue University in 2013. Carrie currently serves on the Government Affairs Committee and was previously on the Certification Committee.
Carrie is an Omaha native and loves the city because of diversity of people and activities. In my spare time, she enjoys quilting, motorcycling and camping. Carrie and her husband, Jerry, have four children, three grandchildren and two rescue dogs, Sophia and Lacey.

Virginia Kiviranta has been a HRAM member since 2001. She served as Co-Chair to the Government Affairs Committee prior to her Executive Board positions.
As a Partner at MyStaff Inc., (A staffing firm focusing on supplemental and direct hire placements in the areas of: Administration, Accounting and Human Resources.) Virginia focuses on business development, account management and recruiting for several firms throughout the Omaha Metro area.
Virginia earned her PHR in 2002, her SHRM-CP in 2015 and earned her Bachelor's Degree in English & History from Midland Lutheran College in 1990. Virginia enjoys traveling, hiking and running when she isn't building her business and remodeling her house.
Mary Eriksen, SHRM-CP, PHR

Mary Eriksen is a long time HRAM member and has served on the Government Affairs Committee for many years. She is currently HR/Safety Manager and Equal Employment Officer for Sapp Bros., Inc. in Omaha.
Mary began her career in bookkeeping in the construction industry and worked in the accounting department at Sapp Bros for a couple of her 24 years with the company before transitioning into HR and safety. She spent 20 years in accounting in the transportation industry during this time as well.
Mary received the PHR certification in 2008, and holds a SHRM-CP certification, as well as an Advanced Safety Certificate from the National Safety Council.
Mary enjoys volunteering at her church in her spare time, as well as walking and hiking with her husband, Don, and reading whenever an opportunity presents itself.
Carl Fosco, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CCP
Carl is a recent retiree of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE) and currently offering his expertise as a Human Resource Consultant.
During his tenure at BCBSNE, Carl held the positions of Director, Talent Acquisition and Workforce Inclusion, and Director, Human Resource Business Partner Services. In addition to a wide range of HR Generalist duties including employee relations, talent sourcing, and talent development and retention, he managed the firm’s diversity activities and training. He led the company’s involvement in community diversity programs serving on the Heartland Latino Leadership Conference committee, the Bi-national Health Week planning committee, the Omaha Diversity Week Career Fair committee and the volunteer program committee at Heartland Workforce Solutions.
Carl has more than three decades of experience in Human Resources, primarily in management positions in the Financial Services and Securities Trading industries. This includes over 20 years at First Options of Chicago where he eventually held the role of Senior Vice President Human Resources and Administration.
At HRAM, in addition to his role as Assistant Treasurer and member of the Executive Board, Carl has served as the Treasurer and on the College Relations, Career Expo and Community Service Committees.
A Chicago native, Carl has lived in Omaha since 2006. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Illinois. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan's Advanced Human Resource Executive Program and holds SPHR accreditation. Carl enjoys living in Omaha because of the great people here on both a personal and professional level.

Terry Rogers-Womack is a Human Resource professional with 20+ years of experience in talent acquisition. She’s currently a Sr. Talent Acquisition Recruiter with First Data Corporation. Prior to that, Terry was a Manager of Talent Acquisition at ConAgra Foods. She also was a part-time adjunct professor for the Human Resources Bachelors program at Bellevue University.
Terry graduated from Bellevue University with BS in Human Resources and Masters in Management. She has been a member of HRAM since 1994 and previously served on the Diversity committee before accepting the Secretary position in 2018.
Terry enjoys hiking, photography, traveling, and gardening. She and her husband Dennis compete in Old West Cowboy Action Shooting.

Laurie Pieper is the Director of Human Resources for the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. She directs an operation that assures attraction and retention of competent personnel for the Chamber and provides opportunities to employees for full engagement, growth and development. She previously spent 25 years with the Omaha Housing Authority.
Laurie has been a member of HRAM since 1982 and has been involved with the Board of Directors for over a decade. She has served as committee member, co-chair, vice president and president.
Laurie additionally serves on the board for the SHRM Nebraska State Council, is a member of the Nebraska SHRM State Conference Planning Committee and of the National Safety Council, Nebraska Chapter.
Laurie loves and appreciates all that Omaha offers including the arts, great food and interesting things to do. She is grateful to work for an organization that continually seeks to make Omaha a vibrant city.

Scott S. Moore is partner with Baird Holm LLP and a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee. He practices management-side employment law and labor relations. He represents employers in various industries in labor relations and employment matters, including personnel policies and decisions, labor negotiations, preventive planning, immigration, equal opportunity, and the defense of employment-related claims.
Scott is a 1992 graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law. He is the former Chair of the Labor and Employment Section of the Nebraska State Bar Association and is the Founder of the Best Places to work in Omaha.
In his free time, Scott enjoys skiing, hunting, fishing and boating with wife and two children.

Kelly Buchanan has over 15 years of HR experience. She joined Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska in 2011 and currently holds the role of Human Resources Director. Previously, she worked in human resources at both the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and Pierce Promotions in Maine.
Kelly has been a member of HRAM since 2011 and earned her PHR in 2016. She co-chairs the College Relations Committee and also assists with the Excel with a Mentor program. Kelly was awarded the 2016 Volunteer of the Year award for her efforts in both committees. Kelly earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Keene State College in New Hampshire. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys traveling, reading and volunteering at the Nebraska Humane Society.

Raedawn Johnson is a technical recruiter for NTT security, formerly know as Solutionary, an information security company. Previously, she worked in human resources at both Garmin International and Sprint in the Kansas City metro area. She is a past board member of KACE (Kansas Association of Colleges & Employers). She has past professional experience as a college relations and corporate recruiter. Raedawn also has experience building and implementing social media strategies.
Raedawn has been a HRAM member since 2013 and co-chairs the College Relations Committee. She earned her BS in Business Psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University and she earned her MS in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Emporia State University.
Raedawn has twin daughters, Reese and Myla. She enjoys kickboxing, Zumba, and Husker football. She is glad to once again be living in her hometown of Omaha.

Karla Keeganhas been a member of HRAM for the past 9 years. At HRAM, she has been on various committees and has been elected to be the Diversity Committee Co-chair for 2018.
Karla is a Branch Manager at Manpower in Omaha, NE. Manpower (www.manpower.com), the global leader in contingent and permanent talent resourcing. In this role Karla Keegan brings 18 years as a recruiter in the search and staffing industry as well as 12 years of management experience. Her specializations are recruitment, employee relations, performance reviews, negotiations, training, orientation, and many other HR duties. She has knowledge working with companies across various industries; including insurance, banking, healthcare, manufacturing, call center, operations, logistics and non-profits organizations.
As a collaborator, Karla is assertive and cooperative in her style of assisting and loves finding a solution that fully satisfies the concerns of clients and candidates alike. She holds her Bachelors in Science from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay in Human Development and a minor in Music. Karla belongs to the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. She is member of Executive Women International but held a board role previously.
When Karla isn’t running the branch, she is spending with her children and friends, gardening, helping with Girl Scouts, driving to gymnastics and attending football games.

Dominique Sierra has been a HRAM member since 2010. She is serving as a Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee beginning January 2018.
She manages a local HR consulting firm, Sierra Company, which specializes in business and HR matters requiring a bilingual professional speaking English and Spanish.
Dominique is both PHR and SHRM-CP certified, and holds an undergraduate degree in HR Management and graduate degree in Organizational Leadership.
Dominique is passionate about the cause of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and has spent much of her professional work seeking to identity how diversity and inclusion can specifically contribute to productivity improvements in organizations.

Lynn has been a member of HRAM since 2012 and serves as the co-chair of the Government Affairs Committee. Lynn is currently employed at CQuence Health Group as the HR Business Partner. She provides guidance to management on Human Resource related issues. She also focuses on talent management initiatives, including recruitment and retention, training and development, and performance management practices.
Lynn has a B.S. in Communications from Wayne State College and received her M.B.A. from Bellevue University in 2009. She earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) in 2012.
Lynn and her husband, Mark, have two children, Harper and Bennett. Lynn loves living in a vibrant city that continues to grow and develop, while maintaining a friendly environment, perfect for raising a family. She loves being outdoors and taking in all that Omaha has to offer.

Bryn recently relocated to Omaha and became a member of HRAM in January 2017. She currently serves as the Co-chair of the Government Affairs Committee.
Bryn is a Human Resources Consultant at SilverStone Group. Bryn works with clients to solve HR challenges, including regulatory compliance, employee handbook, policy development, employee relations, job descriptions and compensation. In addition, she partners with clients to ensure policies and procedures are compliant and follow current best practices.
Bryn graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources. In 2009 she earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHPR) and in 2015 she completed her Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.
A fan of continuous learning, Bryn is most comfortable when she’s introducing new experiences to others. In line with her passion for new experiences, Bryn enjoys trips to New York to attend Broadway shows and performances at Julliard with her family.

Brad Jones is a proud founder of MyStaff Inc, a locally owned staffing agency, focused on placing Administrative, Customer Service, Accounting, Human Resources and Sales professionals in the Omaha metro area. He has been a HRAM member and active participant on the membership committee since 2010.
Brad graduated from UNL in 2003. Brad is very active with the Make-A-Wish and several additional great local nonprofit organizations. In his free time, he appreciates traveling and spending time with his wife and two English bulldogs.

Stacia has been a member of HRAM since 2012. Prior to joining the Membership Committee, she served as Co-Chair for the College Relations Committee. She enjoys mentoring HR students by providing them with coaching, resume building tips, and interviewing techniques.
